Business Leadership and Development

Alicia J. Alexander

Welcome to the Business Leadership and Develop page.

The Business Leadership and Development covers 2 topics:

  • 1. Effective Leadership of self and others.
  • 2. Decision-making and the process of being firm in your decision-making process.

Two Business leadership books used in the process of obtaining these skills are listed below. I did not write these books but, they are highly recommended.

The goal is to offer key, disseminated information on the topics of Decision-making and Leadership. Please look for the weekly posts and corresponding activities from each manual.

Emotional Intelligence Test

Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to perceive, control, and test emotions. Some researchers suggest that emotional intelligence can be learned and strengthened, while other claim it is an inborn characteristic. A number of testing instruments have been developed to measure emotional intelligence, although the content and approach of each test varies. The following quiz presents a mix of self-report and situational questions related to various aspects of emotional intelligence. What is your emotional intelligence quotient? Take the quiz to learn more.
