such_a_time_as_this_hlnd_11.18Is It time to “Shine?” ~ Leadership

God has destined you for greatness. Yet, the path is unknown to most. Like Gideon, Joseph and Esther, leadership appears to manifest at a time when “drama” is strong in society.

Consider this scenario in which the church began to act out the Commission Jesus instituted before he departed from Earth. It is written in Acts 1:7,8,

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Yes, this is the statement which Jesus gave his disciples to carry out but, what did it take for them to be who they were called to be? Persecution or “drama.” It is written in Acts 8:1,

1And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.”

The review is this, “For individuals to manifest the call on their lives, must there necessarily be persecution or “drama?”

Something to consider
