20  But do you, beloved, build up yourselves on your most holy faith and pray in the holy Spirit,

21  so keeping yourselves within the love of God and waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that ends in life eternal.

22  Snatch some from the fire,

23  and have mercy on the waverers, trembling as you touch them, with loathing for the garment which the flesh has stained.

24  Now to him who is able to keep you from slipping and to make your stand unblemished and exultant before his glory —

25  to the only God, our saviour through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and for all time:   Amen.

IWC_AJA‘s insight:

Trusting God implies that we rest on His ability to keep us in right relationship. When you know consciously to whom you belong, you have confidence to look sin in the face and answer it according to the Truth of God’s Word. You are “Free” and sin has no control in your life! No dominion over you!

Trusting God says you rely on him in your daily life to keep you in right relationship with Him. Did you die for your sins? Or, did God gives His only unique Son in order that He may have other unique children?

Trust Him! He is more than able to keep you from falling!
